How to Earn Referral Credits

• Referral Process: When a new member signing up, they must enter the full name of the referring Surrey Cycling Club member in the "How did you hear about us?" section by selecting "OTHER" and typing your full name. This is crucial for the referral to be valid.

• Credit Issuance: A £5 credit will be issued to your club account once the new member has successfully joined and their membership has been confirmed.

Terms of Use

• Membership Requirement: To be eligible to receive referral credits, you must have an active membership with the club at the time of the referral.
• No Self-Referrals Among Partners: Partners who join the club together at the same time cannot refer each other to earn credits. However, if one partner has been a member for a few weeks, they can then refer their partner as a new member.
• No Monetary Exchange: Referral credits are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be transferred. They are intended to be used solely as a credit within the club's systems for eligible purchases and renewals.
• Expiration: Credits must be used within 12 months from the date of issuance. Unused credits will expire and cannot be reinstated or transferred.
• Limitation on Usage: Credits are awarded only for new member referrals. The same member cannot earn credits for referring the same person upon their membership renewal. Each credit is issued once per new member referred.
• Non-Commercial: This program is not designed for profit generation either for the club or the members. It is not a form of affiliate marketing, and the club will not pay money for the referrals. It is simply a way to thank our members for promoting the club.

Data Protection

• Privacy: The Surrey Cycling Club is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Personal information collected during the referral process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Dispute Resolution

• Contact Information: For disputes related to the referral program, members can contact club admin or club officers for resolution.

Eligibility

• To be eligible for the referral credit, members must be in good standing with the club.
• The referred individual must be a new member (i.e., not a previous member renewing their membership).

Additional Conditions

• Surrey Cycling Club reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time.
• Abuse of the referral program, including but not limited to, fraud, misrepresentation, and other violations of the club's standards, may result in the revocation of earned credits as well as potential disciplinary action.
