Surrey Cycling Club is proud to announce our support to Maggie's and Box Hill School in hosting the Surrey Cycle Challenge on Sunday, 7th May 2023! The event will start and finish at Box Hill School, offering three exciting route options: 25, 50, and 100 miles. Participants cycling the 50 and 100-mile routes will enjoy a refreshing break at the picturesque Royal Marsden centre in Sutton.
Maggie's is a charity that provides essential support to people affected by cancer. They offer a welcoming environment where individuals and their families can access free practical, emotional, and social support. With a growing number of people living with cancer in Surrey and Sussex, Maggie's at the Royal Marsden plays a critical role in helping families regain control in the face of this life-changing diagnosis.
By offering non-clinical support, Maggie's helps people navigate the complexities of cancer treatment, access psychological support, and manage their emotions and concerns. In addition, the charity also provides assistance with financial worries that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.
