Professional Coaching for 2026

Surrey Cycling Club proudly working with Lizi Brooke, Pro Athlete, and Joe Staunton from Ceyreste Performance as our club coaches for 2026. They will ride with our active groups multiple times throughout the year, leading structured training rides with real time feedback. Lizi runs weekly Zwift coaching sessions through autumn and winter. Joe hosts webinars on nutrition and fuelling. Members also receive reduced rates for one to one coaching sessions. This is the kind of support that transforms your riding.

Our Club Kit

Our kit is something special. Designed and manufactured by Gobik, it is inspired by the Surrey County flag with navy blue and yellow colours that honour Surrey's rich history. This design, rooted in tradition, visually and symbolically unites our members. Available in classic and Anniversary editions, the kit combines stunning looks with high performance materials. When you wear Surrey Cycling Club colours, you represent quality, community and ambition.

A Global Community in Surrey

Six Group Pace Options

We aim to offer six distinct pace groups to suit most types of riders, from easygoing social riders to those chasing speed and performance. Check the live status of our club rides below to see which groups are currently active and how popular they are.

G1

Inactive
Ideal for beginners with some road cycling experience, G1 offers a relaxed, social ride focused on building confidence and skills.

G2

Developing
A relaxed, social ride for those building fitness or returning to cycling. With non-drop rides and minimal elevation.

G3

Popular
Ideal for riders building fitness and bike handling over varied terrain. This group introduces paceline and chain-gang riding while maintaining a steady, social pace.

G4

Very Popular
For intermediate riders with solid fitness and strong bike handling skills. This group refines paceline and chain-gang techniques over longer distances while maintaining a dynamic, supportive ride.

G5

Very Popular
For highly experienced cyclists with strong fitness and expert bike handling. These fast-paced rides demand efficiency in close formation. A drop policy can be enforced, so riders must maintain the pace to stay with the group.

G6

Growing
An effort-based group where pace varies based on the riders on the day. Similar to G5 but with the potential to exceed 36 km/h, reaching 40+ km/h on flats. Hard efforts at the front are encouraged, but pulling turns is encouraged but optional.
